The magic life of cinematographer Don McAlpine just turned magical with Don being presented with Australia’s highest screen accolade – the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Raymond Longford Award. The award was presented by film Director Bruce Beresford, actors Jack Thompson and Sigrid Thornton and Australian Film Institute Chairman Alan Finney, in recognition of Don’s 40 year career.
